CEMView75 Data Acquisition Systems

The CEMView75 Data Acquisition System is a highly flexible, modular, scalable and configurable data acquisition and reporting application, developed specifically for environmental monitoring. It is structured to meet the most demanding requirements, and to support future applications and expansion. CEMView75 is designed to link timely and accurate data from analyzers directly to plant processes. This connection enhances both plant efficiency and regulatory compliance performance. CEMView75 is designed for Windows 7/Server/Vista/XP operating systems.

CEMView75 Data Buffer

The CEMView Data Buffer features a full 17" touch screen and is typically deployed in a CEM shelter with Ethernet/Fiber network connectivity to the main CEMView75 DAS. The Data Buffer is responsible for real-time data acquisition and control activities such as calibration gas valve control sequencing and probe blowback. Data is automatically retrieved by the main CEMView75 PC. The CEMView Data Buffer acquires data directly from the analyzers via the OPC standard. This ensures that the acquired data is accurate with no loss of resolution, eliminates a source of signal drift that occurs with data logger A/D (analog-to-digital) conversions, and maximizes the diagnostic information available from the analyzers.

OPC Data Access Server

An instrument OPC Data Access server is used by the Data Buffer to communicate with the analyzers. The OPC Data Access server communicates with the analyzer and provides data and alarm event, and alarm notification, to OPC Client applications. Installation costs of CEMView75 are significantly reduced by utilizing the CEMView Data Buffer and direct communication with analyzers. A simple RS422/485/232 or Ethernet connects the instruments to the Data Buffer.

CEMView75 Server

CEMView75 Server is the application control implementation layer of the Data Acquisition and Reporting System. It consists of a number of software components. The CEMView 75 Server:
  • Acquires the data via its OPC Client interfaces from the OPC Server, and handles all computational functions related to the acquired data, including generating and qualifying all regulatory averages.
  • Logs all data to Microsoft SQL Server(TM).
  • Sends all real-time data and alarms to the CEMView75 Client layer or third-party application via OPC interfaces.
  • Hosts Microsoft Scripting Technologies-VB Script and JScript.
CEMView75 Client

CEMView75 Client is the visualization application layer that provides the operator/user interface:
  • Communicates with the CEMView75 Server.
  • Displays real-time and historical data functionally with gauges, charts, pilot lights and buttons.
  • Displays and manages alarms and alarm events.
  • Active user-friendly controls acknowledge and/or silence alarms.
  • Communicates with the CEMView75 OLE-DB provider layer to generate reports.
  • Multi-level Security Passwords and Activity Logs.

P75 QA Tools and Reports

The following are capabilties of the CEMView75 software for 40 CFR Part 75 Reporting:
  • Seamless integration with the ECMPS Client Tool
  • Importable XML file creation for all QA data records
  • A Linearity Check tool
  • A RATA tool
  • Stack flow and fuel flow-to-load analysis tool
  • Facility total emission summary reports
  • Monthly emissions and availability reports

XML Reporting

CEMView75 XML generates your XML files in a short timespan, with just a few mouse clicks. The Emissions Auditor automatically looks for and corrects more problems than any other product on the market. The Emissions Auditor performs QA checks on the raw data and daily calibrations, and then automatically applies corrections. Diagnostic log files are generated to let the user know what modification have been applied. The XML files are clean and correct on the first pass.
